As the summer days get hotter, we expect our drinks to be colder and yummier! Here is a list of our favorite places to get a cold cocktail this summer and our favorite drinks on the menu!
1. True Foods: Fashion Island, Newport Beach
Not only is True Foods one of my favorite healthy and fresh places to eat at, but also to drink at! Their unique cocktails are light, refreshing, and always unique!
Juniper Rose: rose-infused gin, lime, grapefruit, thyme. The first ever "rose" infused drink I have had and this will not be my last! One of the best cocktails I have had in a while, not too sweet and the perfect amount of gin! I am not a gin person in the slightest and I LOVE this drink!
2. The Deck- Laguna Beach
Red Tide- vodka, cranberry-lime sour, mint, and watermelon make for an amazing and refreshing beachside drink! You can guarantee I will be having a few of these before the summer ends..!
3. Carmelita's- Rancho Santa Margarita
Blackberry Margarita and the Classic Margarita- fresh lime juice and agave!
Fancy drinks are great and all, but sometimes we just wants chips, salsa, and a margarita! If you are looking to spice it up try out the blackberry margarita with a spicy sugar rim and enjoy the lake views!
4. The Lighthouse Cafe- Newport Beach
Mimosas, champagne and OJ with an ocean view...need I say more?
5. Tommy Bahama's- Laguna Beach
Mai-Tai- When I want to hear live music, drink a good Mai-Tai, and pretend I'm in Hawaii, Tommy B's is where I head! I also love their "zero-proof" (alcohol free) drink called the Painkiller
6. Avila's- Lake Forest
Margaritas...in huge glasses, flavored, frozen, on the rocks, with chips and salsa?? Avila's always hits the spot for a good old fashioned margarita!
7. Javier's- Irvine Spectrum
Spicy Jalopeno Margarita- I blame my dad for my love of Javier's spicy margaritas. I personally would not pay $16 for a margarita, but if my parents offer, I have to say yes ;)
8. Paul Martin's- Irvine Spectrum
